Sistas Over Stigma (S.O.S.)
Women of Color Living with HIV Awareness, Prevention and Education
Sistas Over Stigma aims to dismantle isolation and stigma faced by women of color living with HIV. We intend to organize multiple virtual support groups, activities, and engagements to foster a sense of connection among women of color in their respective communities. Additionally, we plan to host in person events in various regions of Virginia, culminating in the main event—a compelling commercial that highlights the presence of women living with HIV, emphasizing their inclusion and resilience in the face of the HIV epidemic."
